Plain English Summary
DC-LEARN is a professional CPD programme. You get personal access to learn from it. You don't copy it, redistribute it, or feed the content into AI tools. It's proprietary professional intelligence, not training data. If something is wrong with the programme, we'll fix it or refund you. Irish law applies.
1. About Us
Legacy Business Engineers Ltd ("LBE", "we", "us") is a company registered in Ireland (CRO: 720301) with registered office at 15 Palmers Crescent, The Manor, Dublin 20, D20 DP71. We operate the DC-LEARN professional development programme at learn.legacybe.ie.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing DC-LEARN, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the programme. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
3. Access and Accounts
Free tier: Modules 000 to 002 and Book Chapters 1 to 3 are available without registration or payment.
Paid tier: Modules 003 to 015 require purchase of a Founding Member or Professional licence. Access is granted upon successful payment via Stripe. Corporate and Enterprise licences are issued by invoice.
Each licence grants access to one individual. You may not share login credentials or allow others to access paid content using your account.
4. Programme Content
DC-LEARN is structured CPD learning. It is not CPD-accredited by any external body unless explicitly stated. The programme includes interactive modules, assessments, engineering scenarios, and a companion narrative text.
Content is provided for professional development purposes. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, the programme does not constitute engineering advice for any specific project or facility. See our Disclaimer for details.
5. Payments and Refunds
Prices are displayed inclusive of Irish VAT at 23% where applicable. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. LBE does not store your card details.
If you are dissatisfied with the programme, contact us within 14 days of purchase at [email protected]. We will review your request and, where appropriate, issue a full refund.
6. Intellectual Property
All DC-LEARN content — including module text, assessment questions, engineering scenarios, visual guides, diagrams, the companion book, and all associated materials — is the intellectual property of Legacy Business Engineers Ltd. All rights reserved.
Your licence permits personal use for professional development only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, publish, or share programme content in any form without written permission from LBE.
AI Ingestion Prohibition: You may not input, upload, or otherwise feed programme content — including module text, assessment questions, engineering scenarios, or any derivative notes — into any artificial intelligence tool, platform, or model for the purposes of training, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or building AI-assisted workflows. This prohibition applies to all AI platforms including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Notion AI, and equivalent tools. Breach of this clause constitutes grounds for immediate termination under Section 8.
You may not use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access, download, or index programme content.
7. Limitation of Liability
DC-LEARN is provided "as is" for professional development purposes. LBE does not warrant that the programme will meet your specific requirements, nor that access will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, LBE's total liability in connection with the programme shall not exceed the amount you paid for your licence.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by Irish law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, including the intellectual property and AI ingestion provisions in Section 6. Upon termination for breach, no refund will be issued.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
